Mission Statement

The Mission of Tampa Ballet Theatre is to educate, entertain, and broaden the outlook of the community through the works of classical and contemporary ballet. The company prides itself in preserving the classical masterpieces of the previous centuries, while creating new classical and contemporary productions for the Greater Tampa Bay area. Tampa Ballet Theatre engages itself in community functions to give back to the community through the art of ballet by lending a structural support for the arts.

Tampa Ballet Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit professional ballet company in the Tampa Bay Area and has been since 2012. The company is affiliated with its school, Tampa Bay Ballet where students receive pre-professional training from the very talented Tampa Ballet Theatre professional company dancers. Both Tampa Ballet Theatre and Tampa Bay Ballet were founded by Artistic Director, Lindsay Clark.

Community Outreach

TBT strives to educate, entertain, and broaden the culture within the community of Tampa Bay through the works of classical and contemporary ballet. Tampa Ballet Theatre believes in outreach demonstrations and engages in social functions which help the community by lending a structural support for the arts. The company has performed at Drive Electric, Oktoberfest, and Oldsmar Cares, along with assisted living facilities and public and private schools.

Student Performance Opportunities

Students of  Tampa Bay Ballet, the official school of Tampa Ballet Theatre have opportunities to dance long side the company  in ballets such as Fall Performances, The Nutcracker and Spring Ballets.
