About The Ballet Company

Tampa Ballet Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit professional ballet company in the Tampa Bay Area and has been since 2012. Tampa Ballet Theatre is affiliated with its school, Tampa Bay Ballet where students receive pre-professional training from the very talented Tampa Ballet Theatre professional company dancers. Both Tampa Bay Ballet and Tampa Ballet Theatre were founded by Artistic Director, Lindsay Clark. In March 2015, Tampa Ballet Theatre was named the In-house Resident Ballet Company of Ruth Eckerd Hall. The company is growing and currently consists of 11 Company Members, 2 Company Apprentices, and 5 Tampa Ballet Theatre II Trainees.

The Mission Statement

The mission of the Tampa Ballet Theatre is to educate, entertain, and broaden the outlook of the community through the works of classical and contemporary ballet. The company prides itself in preserving the classical masterpieces of previous centuries while creating new contemporary and classical productions for the Greater Tampa Bay area. Tampa Ballet Theatre engages itself in community functions to help give back to the community through the art of ballet and lending a structural support for the arts. Tampa Ballet Theatre plans to grow its reach throughout the state of Florida with the help of the Artistic Staff, Marketing Staff, Administrative Staff, Business Sponsors and Donors.
