Tampa Ballet Theatre Company Dancer, Madeline AxlundMadeline Axlund began dancing at the age of five with the Tacoma City Ballet in Tacoma, Washington. Upon her relocation to Florida, she continued her training at Tampa Bay Ballet under the direction of Lindsay Clark. Madeline has risen through the ranks of Trainee, Apprentice and is currently a Company Member with Tampa Ballet Theatre. She has performed numerous principal and soloist roles such as Paquita in Paquita, Lead Marzipan in the Nutcracker, Crumb Fairy in Sleeping Beauty and the White Wolf in Dracula. Madeline has attended multiple summer intensives at the Patel Conservatory on a merit scholarship. She has also performed the Spanish Variation in 2013 with the Moscow Ballet. Madeline recently performed the variation from Grand Pas Classique and placed in the top 24 Senior Classical Division at Youth American Grand Prix Tampa regional competition in 2015
