Tampa Ballet Theatre Announces 2015-2016 Season: Giselle, The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Tampa Ballet Theatre, recently named the resident in-house ballet company of Ruth Eckerd Hall, is thrilled to announce its 2015-2016 season. The season will begin in October with Giselle, The Nutcracker in December, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream in May.

Tampa Ballet Theatre will be opening its season with Giselle. Giselle is a ballet about a young peasant girl that encounters a love that is stronger than death. Giselle will be performed on October 9th at 7:00pm, 10th at 7:00pm, and 11th at 2:00pm. Giselle will be performed at Tampa Ballet Theatre at 12720 Dupont Circle in Tampa, 33626. The traditional holiday favorite, The Nutcracker will be performed December 23rd at 2:00pm & 7:30pm at Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, 33759. This will be the debut performance of Tampa Ballet Theatre at Ruth Eckerd Hall as its new resident in-house ballet company. Tickets range in prices from $25-$100. Tampa Ballet Theatre will then be closing its season with A Midsummer Night’s Dream. A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of Shakespeare’s most famous comedies, and is even more magical as a ballet. A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be performed on May 27th & 28th at Ruth Eckerd Hall, specific performance times are yet to be announced. Ticket prices and sale date are yet to be announced.
